Nicole, I love you dearly. Please be mine forever! | | Thursday, October 19th, 2000 | | 7:28 am |
Cars suck. I just dropped $270 into mine yesterday, and I'm not that happy about it. Nothing much going on here, just busy as usual with school, work, girlfriend, and buddies. Haven't been home for dinner in about 2 weeks, so I'm trying to be with the parents for dinner on Sunday night. | | Tuesday, October 17th, 2000 | | 12:15 am |
Crap. I have class at 7:30, and I keep staying up too late! It really sucks, too, cause I don't live that close to the JC. So I need to get up at like 6 or so. DAMN! | | 12:14 am |
Hmmmm. I need a new machine, basically to run Win2k and act as a network server. Also could double as a gaming machine, since all I have right now is a Mac G3 and an underpowered Sony laptop. Methinks this is a good idea, because it will also give me some practice with Win2k. Anyone out there know if it will dual boot with NT 4 Server? I might want to have both on there, either on removable drives, or, if possible, on the same partition. | | Monday, October 16th, 2000 | | 11:49 pm |
Heh, I have a quote of mine printed in a skate/surf/snow magazine called "Automatic". Kinda cool. Pick up the magazine and read the Shop Talk section, then figure out which one is me. | | 11:47 pm |
Whoops, missed about a day and a half. Not that anyone really cares, right? Well, Sunday was spent re-arranging my room. I traded my old foldout desk for a bigger, sturdier mahogany one with mucho drawer space. I put my speakers in a position that will give me the best surround sound. I hooked up my new Epson Stylus Color 880 printer. To me, I have a much better setup here than I did before. All in all, it worked out pretty damn well, if I do say so myself. (Hint: I do!) | | Saturday, October 14th, 2000 | | 11:36 pm |
Just realized that the Mac version of the journal updating tool doesn't spell check. What a bummer! | | 11:34 pm |
Life is good, in my opinion. I just wanted all of you out there that I am firmly in love. My gril is one of the most special people I have ever met in my life, and I am completely blessed to be with her. I thank the powers that be that she found herr way into my arms. I love you, Nicole! | | 12:46 am |
The absolute worst thing about this foot situation is that I can't go surfing for a month. I mean, surfing is like my favorite activity in the world (besides spending time with the afore-mentioned girlfriend), and I don't think I'll be able to hold out a month without touching the Ocean. | | 12:45 am |
Spent the day at work, even with my big toe having been operated on yesterday. The bad thing about work is that I don't sit down all day. I'm either standing at a terminal looking up product, or I'm selling stuff to people. It's kind of annoying when I basically can't use my right foot. The good thing is that the drug (Naproxen Sodium) they gave me takes away ALL of the pain, and doesn't make me feel too weird. I feel quite a bit different than normal, but not as bad as Codeine or Vicadin. I planned on staying home tonight, and just resting the foot. I think I would have been ok if I had gone to the football game (like my girlfriend wanted me to) but I'm playing it safe and resting this thing while I can. Tomorrow I'm going to go out with my girlfriend and some of her friends, to see a movie and just hang out. I hope I won't be on my feet too much, but I think I'll be ok. | | Thursday, October 12th, 2000 | | 10:50 pm |
Enough for tonight. Sleep time for Robb-o. Peace in your shorts! | | 10:49 pm |
I know this thing can be linked to from an independent site, but I don't have a page set up for this yet, so if any of my friends are here, leave me a comment and let me know how you live the layout, navigation interface, colors, etc. | | 10:48 pm |
Well, that one went well. I like the interface here, but I'm gonna try and change the look of this page a round. Hope it has that feature without requiring a monthly fee. If not, this is good enough. I don't have the money to pay for an online journal service, let alone a cup of coffee in the morning. Or good pens. Or a decent video card. Or basically anything besides rent, car payment, insurance, health insurance, school, and day to day stuff that I need to stay alive. Like food. | | 10:45 pm |
This will be my first post. I'm all doped up on a painkiller called Naprolan, because I had an operation on my foot today. So, I'm hoping this doesn't come out as too strange. But it may, so who cares, right? |
